Democracy? Maybe not the best choice…
Cool YouTube video
EVERYONE MUST VOTE!!!!!! Nachos Land Grant Poll
Ok, so my older brother is in Law School. He recently came back to my house for Spring Break, because his law school has a spring break the same week as my Junior High. He is 19, and is into Politics a LOT. So while in his Ford Mustang (He likes cars too!)
(Here are some pics of a Ford Mustang if you don’t know what one actually looks like)

…………………………………………………………………………………….

So anyway we were driving in a car like one of these going to a Restaurant. It is like a 30 minute drive there (Well, he is a crazy driver, but normally if you were driving within the Speed Limit, it would take about 40 minutes lol) but it has really good food so we went anyway. He was listening to some radio station about Politics, while I was listening to Green Day on my iPod. He starts talking about the democratic party, and the super delegates, and how Barack Obama is so much better then Hillary Clinton, and whatever. Then, he asks me about what I am doing here on WordPress and how I am governing Sleet. I told him that we are an empire-republic combo, Like England/UK. He says he is glad that I am not governing Sleet as a democracy. And then I said “Why? Democracy is a great way to govern a nation! The U.S. is a democracy, and we are doing great!” Then, he said, “Actually, no. The United States is a republic, but we call ourselves a democracy. That is so we can say that everyone is free and there are no kings or dictators. But democracy is a very bad way to govern anything-and here’s why. If the United States was a democracy, slavery would be legal” After hearing that as the opposite of what I had believed for a long time, I said “How would democracy bring back slavery?” He said “In democracy, the big idea is that the majority rules. That means slavery would be legal. No, I’m not saying that people are racist, but think about it. I’m not racist either, but still, think about this. In the 1800’s, slavery was a quick, bad way to make money, plus it was cheap labor. So almost everybody was pro-slavery. And that meant the majority was pro-slavery. And in democracy, remember, the majority rules. So if there was a democratic election about it-slavery would be legal, because the majority voted for it.”
“So yeah, keep Sleet away from democracy. And if you can, try to convert others to your type of government.”
Yeah, I learned a lot, while in one of the coolest cars ever. And the restaurant we went to makes really good pizza…
*Yes, I realize that a poll like we use is somewhat of a democracy, but we will only use elections that way, everything else will be an empire/republic combo.

“He starts talking about the democratic party, and the super delegates, and how Barack Obama is so much better then Hillary Clinton, and whatever.”
I don’t know. I’ve heard that Barack’s pastor said a lot of racist things. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ38N8OUg3Q But then again, I’m not an expert on either candidate.
I think your brother is right on everything else, though. Slavery ended in England (an empire-republic combo) without a Civil War. (Although it was still hard work.) But even a government where the king has total power can have a hard time banning slavery. The Portuguese Crown took a while to end slavery in Brazil. The problem with slavery is because it has so much power over the economy.
Andrew575: He thinks Obama is better because of this-http://youtube.com/watch?v=QkUH_ktWy44&feature=related even though he is white like me. He is in Law School so he is basically en expert on every candidate. Even if it is hard work, it can be done-running a country/empire/republic/whatever will usually be a challenge. And we have a parliament, which could possibly make it harder or easier, depending on what our members agree to do.
Thankfully, there is no way people would ever want slaves for themselves in Club Penguin because people get their money by playing games.
Andrew575: Yes, that is a very good thing about club penguin, it would be nearly impossible to have slaves, because even if we said “All Blue Penguins are slaves” then everyone would change their color. No, we will never say something like that.
Btw, what restaurant was it?
Andrew575: It was a restaurant called Fuddruckers. Only some of them actually have pizza. They serve hamburgers mostly though. I don’t know where they have restaurants, I only know where the one is near where I live.
As for converting others to our type of government, that’s going to be hard. As far as I know, the Nachos are an Empire where their ruler has total power. ACP is a Democratic Republic in name, but it acts more like a dictatorship. I’m not saying this to be anti-ACP because I’ve been in it, but Oagal was never elected, and neither were Fort and Tom Yellow. The closest government to us is the Navy, I think. The Navy doesn’t have a Parliament or a Congress, but it has 1 unelected leader (Mr deedledoo, the guy who started it) and a few elected leaders. However, his replacement (when he retires) will be elected.
Andrew575: Wasn’t Oagal the one who started ACP? If he started it he should be leader. We don’t need to convert, an empire/republic combo is great! The nachos type of government is more like a dictatorship/monarchy thing. So the navy has a good government. If we have a government different from everyone else, people will find us more interesting, and join.

Hillary is white supremacist? If Hillary is a white supremacist and Barack is a black supremacist, that would mean McCain, but I don’t want to support someone I know too little about.
Andrew575: My dad says Hillary and Obama hate each other, which is kind of true. I don’t think Obama is a black supremacist, I have never heard him say something like that.
Also, I think Hillary is misinterpreting the Bible. While it does say Cain was marked, it did not link that to the supremacy of any race. The only thing it was linked to was Cain murdering Abel.
Andrew575: I don’t think McCain will be president if he murdered somebody. If Cain is someone in the bible, I wouldn’t know about it because I have actually never opened a bible, my parents don’t go to church.
I can’t even see how they get white supremacy out of that. Some say the mark was darker skin, but the truth is this: the Bible doesn’t say what mark it was.
Oh well, I’m not old enough to vote so I guess it doesn’t matter whom I support.
Andrew575: Same with everybody else on Club Penguin unless there are some immature adults playing it. And obviously, Neither am I.
No, I wasn’t referring to McCain, but to a Biblical Cain.
Andrew575: Oh. In that case I have no idea who that is
I don’t know for sure if Barack is a black supremacist, but his ex-pastor is and he never bothered leaving that church.
Andrew575: Maybe he just liked the way that pastor preached
Maybe, but somehow I wouldn’t want a pastor I disagreed with on major things. On minor things, it’s okay, because you can’t agree on everything. I mean, suppose you supported marriage between a man and a man or a woman and a woman. Would you go to Westboro Baptist Church? (This is the church that says God hates the non-straight, and that God is punishing us with the war in Iraq because we allowed the non-straight to prosper in our country.)
Andrew575: If I went to church, I wouldn’t want that either. But I don’t think God is behind the war in Iraq.
It depends on how you look at it. Muslims (I don’t mean all, just radicals) think they need to do what they do for God so they can get to paradise.
So it’s not so much that they love God, just the reward he has promised them: several virgins.
